About “Sisi Sapa Tourguide”

The region around Sapa in Lao Cai Province is situated close to the Chinese border in northern Vietnam. This area is famous for its impressive landscape as a gateway to the Hoang Lien Mountains with the Fan Si Pan (3143m) as the highest peak in this region. Sapa is worth a visit all year round though temperatures can drop down to zero degrees in January/ February.
The local people you will mostly meet are of colorful diversity. They are Black Hmong, Red Zao and Flower Hmong who are different hill tribe minorities dressed commonly in traditional clothing.

The “Sisi Sapa Tourguide” project was initiated by Sisi as one step of many in the past in order to become more independent, allow travellers to deal directly with their local guides and to keep developing for the future.
The aim of this project is, apart from more independency throughout additional work, the networking with other guides to offer a wider range of knowledge and tour packages for curious visitors. It is also an opportunity for other young local minority women to make their ways as guides.
